Southernmost ATM

Wells Fargo flies a technician to Antarctica every two years

Southernmost ATM

At 77°51′ south it dispenses U.S. dollars exactly as it would in a branch lobby, thousands of miles from the nearest bank. There are two machines but only ever one working: the other is a parts donor. A technician flies down every two years to service them, and the cash simply circulates between the station store and the ATM, so no new money ever has to be shipped to Antarctica.
