Privacy
Unique does some simple analytics so we can see which pages get read and where visitors come from. It never tracks you as an individual: no tracking cookies, no profiles, no ads, and visitor data is never sold or shared for advertising. The analytics are first-party: they run on our own server and are not sent to an analytics vendor.
The site counts page views along with the referring site, your country, language, browser and device type, how long a page was in focus, and which outbound links are clicked, such as a link to an App Store listing. Pages are recorded by path only, without the query string. The analytics store nothing on your device and keep no IP address or raw user-agent string. To count visitors without identifying them, each visit is reduced to a one-way fingerprint that is mixed with a secret that changes every day and is then deleted, so a visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next. Known bots are not counted. If your browser or network blocks analytics, the site works the same.
The site itself sets no cookies and runs no ad pixels or other third-party trackers. Your visit also produces a normal web-server access log entry (IP, user-agent, referrer, requested path) at our hosting provider, kept only for the rolling window needed to investigate abuse and outages, and never sold or shared.
Outbound links go to third-party sites that have their own privacy practices; we have no control over those.

Affiliate links are marked with an Affiliate badge and a one-line disclosure on each page where they appear. Affiliate revenue does not influence what we cover or how we cover it; nothing on this site is sponsored or paid placement.
