A personal website served entirely from six £12 ESP32-S3 microcontrollers on a shelf in a London flat — no cloud, no CDN, not even a Raspberry Pi. Four of them are serving blades running a live leader election over encrypted radio; kill the leader and another takes over the same MAC address, IP and TLS certificate in under four seconds. The other two drive the screens on the front.
