The room mattered more than the film

Today’s catch is four rooms rather than four films — a cinema in Asmara that survives because its ground-floor café does, twenty-eight red velvet seats down an alley in Bend, five thousand poster sheets from the company that hung them across Texas, and a 2005 video store rebuilt in 3D by someone who noticed the films were easy to find again and the shop was not.
