Yap has none to download: it calls the SpeechAnalyzer APIs macOS 26 already ships and manages, which is how the whole thing fits into about 4 MB and roughly 3,000 lines of Swift. Press ⌘⇧D, talk, and the text lands in whichever window has focus. No account, no API key, nothing leaves the machine. MIT-licensed.
