VoiceInk transcribes speech to text using local Whisper and Parakeet models, so audio never leaves the Mac — no network call, no cloud service to trust. It swaps configurations automatically based on which app or website has focus, and its personal dictionary can be trained on the technical terms and names a generic dictation engine would otherwise mangle. The code is open source under GPL v3; a paid license adds automatic updates and priority support.
