US Regional Map by Reddit Vote

What 'the Midwest' means, settled by crowdsourced poll

The official Census Bureau regions are four blocks; everyone knows they’re wrong. This map was built by letting Reddit users vote on which region each state belongs to, then drawing boundaries by majority. The South splits cleanly (Texas is its own thing); the Midwest is bigger than the Northeast wants to admit; Florida quietly secedes from everywhere. A small data project that settles a small argument.
