It looks like the last homestead in a fourteen-mile volcanic bowl, grey timber and a stone chimney with an outhouse for company. It is a set, built for the 2003 Western The Missing, and it stands just off the entrance road into Valles Caldera. The Park Service took the preserve over in 2015 and decided not to strike it. Nothing marks it as false from the road, which is exactly why it works.
