White is the brightest thing a normal image can be. HDR screens can go further, and this hands that headroom to whichever colours you nominate: upload a logo, mark the parts that should glow, download a JPEG whose chosen pixels read up to 7.5 times brighter than #FFFFFF. On an SDR screen it is an ordinary file. On an HDR one it lights up off the page.
