Marc Hagan-Guirey — the kirigami artist who works as Paper Dandy — spent over three years cutting Springfield out of MDF, paper and 3D-printed parts, one building at a time, until he had all 76 of them. Moe’s, the Kwik-E-Mart, Krusty Burger, 742 Evergreen Terrace, each built to cartoon proportions rather than architectural ones. Photographed at night, it stops reading as a model.
