Searxly is a native macOS browser — not Electron — with a real SearXNG search engine running locally on the machine, so a search never leaves the Mac and there’s no account or telemetry to opt out of. It also runs a local tools server so an assistant like Claude can search and browse through the app directly, and it ships with built-in Tor and .onion support for anything local search doesn’t cover.
