A four-foot sand tower with no bucket, no form and no plastic castle mould

The whole technique is hand stacking: scoop a double handful of fully saturated sand, plop it onto the last one, and jiggle it exactly as the excess water runs out, which fuses the two. Do that enough times and you get towers and arches with no bucket and no form. One Cool Tools reader’s first week produced a 48-inch lighthouse.
