Kroz was Scott Miller’s first game for Apogee, written 1987–1990; Apogee released the Turbo Pascal source as freeware in 2009. This port of The Lost Adventures of Kroz reads that source directly — every level, tile rule, and sound extracted from it, with all 943 hand-drawn layout rows matching byte for byte. Only the art changed: tiles come from the public-domain Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup set, chains from a licensed Castlevania pack. Seventy-five levels down, GPL v2 throughout.
