Harvey Milk's old camera shop, now a gallery and gathering place

The storefront where Harvey Milk sold film and planned his run for supervisor is now Queer AF, part gallery, part boutique, part meeting place for queer artists. It isn’t kept as a shrine: rotating exhibitions, open mics, clothing swaps and craft nights fill the calendar, and much of the art on the walls is for sale. Look for the handmade ruby slippers by one of the founders.
