Somewhere between eleven and eighteen kilometres of white sand on Boa Vista, depending who did the measuring, and almost nothing standing on it. There is one beach shack, at one end, and it works. The other structure is a concrete shell: in 2015 developers broke ground on the first of six resorts meant to put 835 rooms along this stretch, and stopped. What is left is the emptiness, preserved by accident.
