Pokémon Emerald recompiled from pret’s decompilation project and flashed onto a WeAct Studio Core2350B — an RP2350 board that runs about $6 — with HDMI out via the chip’s HSTX peripheral, locked to 60fps and vsync-tied to the scan-out beam. No ROM required: it builds the game from its own committed source, following pret convention. The link cable and real-time clock don’t exist in silicon, so trading is out and the cartridge clock always reads zero.
