Pocketbook Hudson

An 1883 factory block converted into 46 rooms

Pocketbook Hudson

A 70,000-square-foot former pocketbook factory occupying an entire city block in Hudson, NY — built in 1883 — has been converted into 46 rooms with stainless-steel elevated bathtubs and burgundy window frames that make the industrial bones the architecture itself. Beneath it, a subterranean nightclub called Ether and a communal bathhouse with cold and warm plunge pools and sauna. Designed by Charlap Hyman & Herrero, with half-price bathhouse access reserved for locals.
