Pequignet Royale Paris Chrono BPM

A chronograph whose pulsometer scale reads a song's tempo

Pequignet Royale Paris Chrono BPM

Pequignet turned the doctor’s pulsometer scale into a tempo reader: start the chronograph, count 30 bass-drum beats, stop it, and the BPM is on the rim. The dial fades from electric blue to black, a nod to Paris club lighting, and a row of VU-meter bars runs along the track from midnight to 2:00. It’s a 39.5mm automatic from Morteau with a 65-hour reserve, €6,950 on the maker’s site.
