Daniel Rozin has spent three decades building mirrors that reflect you in something other than glass — wood tiles, trash, pegs. This one uses 450 motorized stuffed penguins on individual tin bases, each rotating to show its black back or white belly, so a motion sensor and custom software render a viewer’s silhouette across the flock in real time. It premiered at bitforms gallery in New York in 2015, his seventh solo show there; the piece is unique, dimensions variable, and available only by inquiry through the gallery.
