Panasonic NN-SF57RM

A Japanese-style microwave with a flatbed interior and no turntable

Panasonic NN-SF57RM

Standard countertop microwaves in the US spin a turntable inside a round cavity; the NN-SF57RM instead uses a flatbed interior with a pull-down oven-style door, the layout that’s been standard in Japan for years and is only now arriving in the US. A 64-point sensor reads the food’s actual temperature directly rather than estimating from wattage and time, so reheating adjusts automatically instead of guessing at power level and minutes.
