Ohio's Small Town Museum

Home of the traffic light that ran at Long and Main for fifty years

Ohio's Small Town Museum

By 1975 Ashville, Ohio, had lost its depot, its newspaper and its industry, so the town built a museum out of what was left. The crown jewel is Teddy Boor’s patented motorised traffic light, a science-fiction orb that ran at Long and Main from 1932 to 1982 and holds the Guinness record for longest in operation.
