The Shuttle Chef is two pots: a stainless cooking pot that goes on the stove, and a vacuum-insulated outer shell it locks into once the contents hit a boil. From there, no burner, no outlet — the trapped heat keeps simmering stews, grains, and braises for 3-6 hours on its own, then holds the finished dish at serving temperature until you’re ready. Thermos (originally under the Nissan Thermos name) has sold the line since the late 1980s.
