Nimmo Bay sits where the Great Bear Rainforest meets the sea on the central BC coast, family-owned and float-plane-only. The day’s program is the opposite of a resort itinerary: snorkeling in cold water, barefoot walks through old-growth, soaking in a floating sauna while a humpback or a coastal wolf passes by. Aimed at travellers willing to swap room service and a pool for unscripted contact with one of the largest temperate rainforests left.
