Ancient Underwater Wall of Nhon Hai

Surfaces for a few days each lunar month, and nobody has dated it

Ancient Underwater Wall of Nhon Hai

It runs from the rocks at Nhon Hai out toward Hon Kho Island, remarkably flat and more than ten metres wide in places, and divers describe it as one dense mortar-like mass rather than laid stone or brick. No archaeology has fixed its age or purpose; the Champa attribution is a guess. Local fishermen have always known it was there. For a few days around the lowest tides, so does everyone else.
