Moser’s next-cheapest watch is about $15,000; the Off-Grid is CHF 3,900, and the first the house has ever sold online. Under a domed fumé dial in red or “Blackor” sits a digital screen with the complications watch people actually want — perpetual calendar, moonphase, GMT, a 1/100-second split chronograph, sunrise and sunset — and no notifications or step count. The big pusher at nine is “Off-Grid” mode: pick a country and it shows ten words in that language, the whole of its connectivity. 1,000 pieces per colour, until 5 October.
