An artist-engineer’s project that CADs, illustrates, and animates the internal mechanisms of everyday objects — currently the PILOT G2 pen, Zippo lighter, BIC pencil, and PEZ dispenser. Each teardown is a meticulous hand-crafted 3D animation that reveals how the thing actually works. The level of care put into animating a $2 pen is the whole point.
