MCP2000 is a sampler and step sequencer, styled after classic hardware like the MPC2000, that runs entirely in the browser. Type a prompt — “Bollywood strings meets trap hi-hats,” “utopian, otherworldly bird songs” — and it generates a full 16-pad drum bank or a loop to chop up, which you then arrange on the step sequencer and shape with a waveform editor and effects like beat-synced delay and bit-crushing. What you control is the prompt and the arrangement; the sounds themselves come out of the generator each time.
