Preserved classic cars, vintage road signs and racing memorabilia in Burlington, North Carolina, hung and parked with the density of a collection rather than the spacing of an exhibit. The centrepiece is what a plaque can’t do: a Plymouth Barracuda drag car lettered Fish Stick, purple scales bleeding into orange flame, sitting on gold wheels under a borrowed SPEED ZONE AHEAD sign.
