Lubee is a Gainesville non-profit that cares for bats, including flying foxes, the largest bats on earth. Guided private tours include meeting the education ambassadors and feeding bats fruit kabobs. There are no walk-ins: tours run at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., cost $250 for up to five guests, and must be booked ahead.
