Locals call it Ong Nui Pagoda. It sits against the rugged slopes of the Ba Mountain range, and getting to it means a path of six hundred stone steps. What waits at the top is a colossal white Buddha, seated in meditation and facing out over the open sea, with the main hall and the sanctuary spaces gathered alongside.
