Kanto Obi3 (Gen 2)

A $200 belt-drive turntable that now watches its own speed

Kanto Obi3 (Gen 2)

The original Obi3 undercut most of the entry-level field at $200 with a switchable phono stage and Bluetooth built in, so records could feed a wired system or wireless speakers without an adapter hunt. Gen 2 keeps all of that and fixes the thing that actually separates cheap turntables from good ones: a heavier plinth and a speed sensor that corrects the motor as it runs, rather than hoping the belt holds pitch.
