Point it at any number of folders — internal disk, external drive, the SD card still in the reader — and it browses them where they are. There is no library to import into and nothing to catalogue; FSEvents watches the folders, so photos appear as they land. RAW decoding runs through LibRaw, and it reads and writes XMP sidecars, so Lightroom and Bridge still understand what you did.
