HSL-Noise

Hue is the pitch, saturation is the bandwidth, and lightness is how full it sounds

HSL-Noise

The classic “colors of noise” — white, pink, brown — turn out to be five named points on a much bigger space. HSL-Noise fills in the rest by mapping hue to a Gaussian bell curve’s center frequency, saturation to its width, and lightness to how much of its skirt gets trimmed, so any HSL value becomes a specific, nameable hiss. Settings live in the URL, so two browser tabs at matched colors can be layered into a compound sound, like a fire’s hum plus its crackle.
