One British or Irish town, on the hour, in its historic county

@towns.satyrs.eu

Every hour it posts one place — town, village, hamlet or city — with its coordinates and a handful of photographs of whatever is actually there: a chapel, a bus shelter, four houses and a fence. The choice that makes it good is the filing. It runs on the Gazetteer of British Place Names using historic counties, so Llanllyfni comes up in Caernarfonshire rather than in a 1974 administrative region.
