Hotel Lucile

Silver Lake's boutique hotel, built inside a 1931 church

Hotel Lucile

Hotel Lucile occupies the former Bethany Presbyterian, a Romanesque Revival church built in 1931 that sat vacant for most of the last decade. The renovation kept the original wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, and stained-glass windows, and turned the nave into Sous Sous, a restaurant blending Southern French and Deep South cooking under two new murals referencing local wildfire and parkland. Twenty-five rooms; the best, number 106, has its own courtyard.
