HomeSnap connects to your HomeKit setup purely to observe: it logs every accessory state change into a timeline, but the app itself has no ability to flip a switch, lock a door, or run a scene. That read-only boundary is deliberate — a script or AI assistant can query its JSON API for a full history of what changed and when, without ever gaining the power to change anything.
