The pedunculate oak at Čibukovac, near Kraljevo, is reckoned to be over 500 years old and stands more than 30 metres tall on a trunk roughly eight metres round. That was wide enough for villager Mihailo Erotijević and Father Radojko to hollow it out and line the cavity with icons. The interior was waxed to preserve it. The tree is still alive; the chapel is inside it.
