Hand-made jeans and trousers from a Sausalito workshop full of vintage machines

Hendrix Park

Hendrix Park is Rix Cannell’s one-person operation in Sausalito: a workshop full of vintage industrial sewing machines, each one bought for a specific job — the chainstitch hem, the bar tack, the belt-loop stitcher — because no modern machine matches their pull or their stitch length. He builds jeans, trousers, and pants by hand on the lot, currently in collaboration with Standard & Strange on a signature pair. The journal entry walks through the room, machine by machine.
