Kool-Aid was invented in Hastings, Nebraska, and the town’s museum gives the drink half a floor — the original Kool-Aid Man costume, vintage packaging, and a fiber-optic “river” of Kool-Aid glowing through the lower level. It’s the kind of gloriously specific hometown-pride exhibit that makes a detour off the interstate worth it. Equal parts marketing history and small-museum sincerity.
