Haskell Free Library & Opera House

1904 opera house where the US–Canada border runs through the seats

A Victorian opera house and library in Derby Line, Vermont / Stanstead, Quebec that straddles the US–Canada border — the reading room sits in the US, the stage in Canada, and the international boundary runs through the seats. Built in 1904, it still operates as both a working library and a performance venue. The border runs through an active building people use every week.
