David Mokso builds this Godzilla bust from a welded metal armature, layers of foam, and hand-sculpted clay, then finishes the spikes and teeth in 3D-printed resin lit from inside by 32 LEDs. It stands 103cm tall and weighs 16kg, and partway through he grinds the head clean off the neck to keep working inside it — the one moment you’re sure he’s ruined nearly 570 hours of work. The finished chest opens into a mirrored display shelf.
