Alcorcón is apartment blocks and shopping centres south of Madrid, and its neighbourhood green space is also Mount Olympus. Apollo holds the centre as the Sun in an enormous fountain, with paths radiating out like orbits to smaller fountains and their gods — Mercury, Venus, Gea for the Earth, then Mars through Neptune. The sculptures by Ángel Aragonés are flat and frontal, but their attributes give each one away. Pluto is out there too: the International Astronomical Union demoted it in 2006, and La Ribota has declined to notice.
