Behind the workshop of Fiberglass Animals, Shapes and Trademarks (FAST) in Sparta, Wisconsin, sits a field of titanic molds left over from nearly every giant roadside statue the company has cast — skulls, dogs, dinosaurs, Santa Clauses, all scaled up and weathered to the color of old stone. FAST welcomes visitors to walk the field freely; the only official warning is to watch for hornet nests.
