Elle Cordova sets a tour of typefaces to Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Modern Major-General,” naming a couple of dozen in three minutes and landing a joke on most of them — Comic Sans ruled out of legal documents, “Papyrus is a virus.” It builds to the Helvetica reveal, calls it the font that launched a thousand knockoffs, then deflates the whole thing: “I think I’ll just go with the default.” A follow-up to her “Fonts Hanging Out” trilogy.
