Carlos Zaragoza spent three years in the archives and with traditional artisans before opening fifteen rooms behind a balustraded art nouveau façade on Calle Colima. Ramon Sierra’s stained glass is restored in the two patio suites; the bathrooms have Rosso Levanto marble vanities and claw-foot tubs with nickel stoppers. The towels are scented to a formula he worked out with the laundry.
