Nema Design Hotel on Crete’s north coast built a second hotel inside its own grounds and named it after the ancient Greek word for “within.” The Athens practice OmniView made privacy structural rather than decorative — dark mineral surfaces, substantial walls, unusually tall or broad suites around a landscape reserved for the enclave. Its architect calls the plan introverted, which here describes a masterplan rather than a mood.
