Built during the late 12th century, the golden era of the Vijaya kingdom, the tallest of these three brick towers rises 38.81 meters — the tallest brick Cham tower in Southeast Asia. Unlike most Champa sites, which are brick throughout, Duong Long’s doorways and corners incorporate massive carved sandstone blocks, a detail usually credited to neighboring Khmer craftsmanship. The towers sit in open countryside outside Quy Nhon, reachable but well off the usual circuit.
