On a multi-monitor Mac, clicking a Dock icon often just leaves the app’s window sitting open on whichever screen it was already on. DockLift catches that click, moves the app’s most recent window to the display you’re using, and brings it to front — it also restores minimized windows and lets you exclude specific apps. It’s free, open source (MIT-licensed, on GitHub as jaywcjlove/dock-lift), and installs via Homebrew.
