A dial made from paper too delicate to dye, sandwiched under crimson

The Citizen Tosa Tengujoshi

The Citizen’s newest dial sandwiches a sliver of Tosa Tengujoshi — a Kochi Prefecture washi paper too delicate to dye — beneath a translucent crimson layer, letting light reach the Eco-Drive cells below while keeping the paper’s texture visible. The classical dial hides a perpetual calendar and a power-reserve indicator triggered by a recessed button at 2 o’clock. Caliber A060 holds ±5 seconds a year; the 38mm Super Titanium case and bracelet are limited to 350 unnumbered pieces at $2,995.
