Most birthday calendars sit in a drawer because the work of writing every name in is the part nobody does. This one ships as a kit: you fill in the dates with the names that matter to you, and each month is illustrated with that month’s birth-flower (asters for September, marigolds for October, and so on). Perpetual, so it doesn’t expire on January 1 — and the act of writing the names in turns the calendar into the gift, not the object.
